Char Siu Tan Tan Ramen
Please clean your restrooms. They are beyond disgusting. I can't believe the people who made my food have to use those. Honesty, if l went in there before eating l would have left. Please do better.
Stuffed Mushrooms
BROKE DA MOUTH! Hands down one of the best items on the menu. It's like a peace of heaven added into the mushrooms lol.
1. Wagyu Beef Bento
Everything is always fresh and delicious. Employees are friendly and all stores are clean and welcoming.
Spicy Tuna & Ahi Poke Bowl
Taste Amazing. Perfect level of spice. Perfect poke to rice ratio. Flavors was hitting everything just right!
15. Deluxe Keiki Bento
Perfect combo for a quick lunch or to stave off an afternoon hunger. There is a good variety of foods to share. I could only eat half and saved the rest for later noshing. Kids and parents can enjoy this dish. It is reasonably priced, especially for a tourist town like Kailua Kona. There is ample seating and we enjoyed a take-out to have advantage of the sunset and outdoor seating. Genki has seasonal items and that gives us more choices throughout the year.
Garlic Salmon Roll - WA
Genuinely some of the best sushi I've ever had. The flavour is rich and fresh but not at all over powering, It's unique in the best way and absolutely unforgettable. I love the garlic salmon roll in a way that borders on obsessive, do yourself a favor and try it. I promise you won't regret it.
T/O Eggplant Tempura
Delicious. The crispy texture of eggplant. The flavors mix well together. Favorite item to order from the menu
Kabocha Tempura
This is the most delicious ono tempura in the whole of the island of Oahu. Promise!
Sukiyaki Bowl
I'm not the type of person who complains about t a restaurant. I'm 60 yrs old and I only complained about a restaurant once in my lifetime. I took my 88 yr old parents to dinner last night at the Kaneohe Genki Sushi last night for Fathers Day. My father was excited that the Kaneohe restaurant was open again after being closed for remodeling. He was set on going to dinner there and wanted the chicken teriyaki bowl. My mom wanted that also. We got to the restaurant around 5:10pm and finally got seated around 6pm. When I ordered, I was told that they were out of teriyaki chicken. What kind of Japanese restaurant is out of teriyaki chicken at 6pm on a day like Father's Day? Well, my dad was upset and complained to the waitress. We ended up ordering sukiyaki bowl. They were so small and the meat was fatty. I can't believe the poor quality of the food. And I had to hear it all night from my parents that the restaurant was out of teriyaki chicken. So disappointed and disgusted
7. Genki Ahi Poke Bowl
Their poke bowl got even better. They have the right amount of rice to poke ratio. Their poke is cut into the perfect bite size. It also was seasoned so amazingly.
